How to Create the Greatest Multi-Level Marketing Environment (by Brian Sax)

One of the greatest ways to have success in Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) is to create the right type of environment in order to grow a large Team.  What are the characteristics of a great environment?  #1)  Respect.  We must respect everyone who takes a look at the business.  This means eliminating any mention of religion or politics in the MLM environment.  In doing this, we respect all around us.  #2)  Being non-judgmental.  Who are we to judge?  We must NEVER judge others, either consciously or subconsciously (this takes effort!).  Because 90% of communication is nonverbal and 90% happens at the subconscious, working on eliminating judgment from our being is super-important.  If people around us feel judged, that is a surefire way to drive them away.  #3)  Tolerance.  Whatever people’s beliefs, backgrounds, races, etc., we must always be tolerant.  Tolerance is the antithesis of judgment.  #4)  Acceptance.  Tolerance and acceptance go hand-in-hand. Tolerance, acceptance, and respect make people feel good.  An exemplary environment in MLM is one where others feel good…better in that environment than in the “real world”.  In everyday life, there is certainly a dearth of these great characteristics, and if these are trained and implemented in the multi-level marketing business environment, people will be so excited and feel so great about being in that setting, that you may never have to convince people to show up to meetings and training.  The result?  A Team that grows phenomenally fast with a lot of happy, satisfied people!

Brian Sax ACN is a multi-level marketing master with years of experience at ACN.  He has been a Senior Vice President (SVP, IBO) since 2003.  Mr. Sax built his success by creating the best environment for people on the Team as well as for those who are looking to join the Team.

Power of Persuasion - The Plight of the Salesman (NOT by Brian Sax)

Even when you’re selling the most useful product in the world, if no one has heard of it, chances are you will need to convince some skeptical buyers.  Some of the best salesmen sometimes struggle with marketing their products with little to no name recognition.  People buy things that make them comfortable, and usually they stay loyal to a few companies for a few different products or services.  A prime example of this is at the drug store.  Studies have shown that over-the-counter drugs such as Tylenol still sell better than the proprietary brands offered by Walgreens or Rite Aid.  Even though these proprietary brands have the same ingredients and cost much less than their name-brand counterparts, they are still outsold by Tylenol and others.

Persuading customers to take a chance on a new product or service, even when it will benefit them, is like asking a customer to take a leap of faith.  They don’t know your product, and they may not know you.  To them, taking a risk on a new product creates risks.  As a salesman, it’s up to you to convince them that it’s not a risk, it’s an improvement.  The job is, of course, much easier when the product you are offering actually will improve their life by making something less complicated or by providing something they didn’t have but definitely need.

Brian Sax of ACN built a career out of acquiring customers, people who he knew (called warm market), to switch to ACN or to one of ACN’s partners for their utility and telecom service, and more importantly, building a Team and helping those on that Team acquire their own warm market customers.

Track Tip - Consistency (by Brian Sax)

A critical aspect of a training program for running track and for distance running is consistency.  The more consistent you are with your training program, the more success you will likely have on race day.  Consistency in training, sleep, nutrition, and tissue work are all paramount in achieving an elite level (or in improving in general).

The benefit of an excellent coach is that the coach typically will make sure his or her athletes will train consistently.  This includes not just the actual training component, but also intelligent recovery (enough time) between training sessions.

The sleep, nutrition, and tissue work is primarily managed by the athlete.  Eight to nine hours of sleep per night, naps when necessary, regularity of sleep schedule, eating as many raw foods and organics as possible, eating as close to the “paleo” diet as possible, receiving massage therapy twice or more per week, and using baseballs, softballs, and rollers for your own tissue work are all essential to your success.  Again, however, your consistency in all of these areas is, and always will be, the key to your future success!
